Royal Danish PlayHouse
Skuespilhuset is the name of a new theater house for the Royal Theatre. The house is right next to the water at Kvæsthusbroen in Frederiksstaden and has three stages with space for 650, 200 and 100 spectators. The house itself is a total of 20,000 m2 and was designed by the Danish architects Boje Lundgaard and Lene Tranberg (Lundgaard & Tranberg), who in 2002 won the Ministry of Culture's architectural competition. It was completed on October 1, 2007
